Film Roll 14

April 2025

I paid extra close attention to how I was loading the film into my Minolta X-700 after getting about six photos from three rolls that I sent in for development.

I shot an entire roll of Kodak E-100 in a day, and then this roll of Ultramax in about two days. I second-guessed myself about how I loaded the film after I had put it in, and I knew I had to open up the back to check and sacrifice the first couple of photos. It ended up working fine, and now I'm convinced that my lost photos were just due to my own negligence in loading the film.

I did not realize that the lab I send my film to doesn’t process E-100 film due to the E-6 chemistry, so that roll is forthcoming. The majority of the photos taken on this roll were in a park in Ishikawa, Okinawa. The park has many friendly cats that hang out around it, a beach, and a skatepark. There are also numerous boats docked at a nearby marina.
